Operations We Cover
Here to capture every detail

Our drones can be used to inspect everything from roof surveying to offshore equipment we can cover this. There are major benefits to using drones to conduct visual inspections over traditional, manual inspection methods, with inspector safety being at the top of the list. Another unexpected benefit is the ability to easily review the footage, as many times as you like and being able to analyse the footage in great detail. This can also be done via live video streaming while our clients can be located anywhere in the world.

Examples of drone inspections

Some examples of the different ways drones can be used during a remote inspection are:

Aerial Photography

Capture still images of an area, this is especially useful for identifying structural damage or other changes that may not have been visible from ground level.

Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging will detect where heat sources and hot spots are in buildings to identify potential fire risks. This technology can also aid in the detection of defects such as leaks during roof surveys.

Aerial Mapping

Aerial Mapping can be used to create a detailed map of an area, which could then be utilised in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods.

In recent years, drone inspections have been widely adopted by businesses across the world with councils and government organisations using drones for surveying and inspecting properties within their region. These aerial inspections allow for an overview of structures such as roofs or buildings to identify possible defects that may not be visible from ground level. They can also quickly inspect large expanses of land to find things that might be hidden from view by human inspectors.

If you need assistance or advice on how your company might benefit from using drones as part of your inspections, send us an email or give us a call and we’ll do our best to help.

Project Reports, Mapping and close inspection. We can capture progress photography and re run to find change detection on your construction site.

Our assessment includes but not limited to:

  • Observation of the construction work and its level of completion

  • Observation of any potential work hindrances or stoppage

  • Assessment of conformance to the construction schedule

  • Assessment of the quality of workmanship

  • Assessment of supply of stored materials for adequate quantities

  • Identification of construction changes and potential or pending changes

Progress reports can be updated on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.

If you wish to inquire about progress reports contact us.

Using a Live video feed similar to zoom, your team can have eyes on exactly what the UAS sees. Our drone has various features and capabilities from zooming abilities to image stabilisation. This can be done if your team is located off-site using a smartphone, laptop or tablet. A common choice in the engineering or construction sector, this is being used more proactively due to the cost-benefit, ease of access and safety.

Example client view point for live video stream (Interface may differ)

In the real estate industry one of the biggest benefits of using drones for real estate is the ability to view the location of a property to nearby attractions, amenities, parks, etc. An aerial perspective is the best way to capture the entirety of this layout.
Arguably, one of the most critical steps in selling a home is taking pictures. These shots are traditionally taken from the perspective of a person standing in a driveway, garden, backyard, etc.
Aerial views can be used to help show buyers the condition of otherwise inaccessible features of a property, such as newly installed roofs, gutters, vents, etc.

Aerial videography for digital marketing video content gives a stunning, unquestionable addition to quality and gives the impression of professionalism. Having aerial video or photo for your content will no doubt look good for your advertisements in many different ways. But also adds a story to the content that you're advertising.

Much like inspections. UAS can be used to video and inspect an area that may be difficult to get to by traditional means or to just view a different perspective of such an area for analysis in a safe or less intrusive manner. Footage and image capture can be presented almost immediately after the operation.

Our drones have high-quality cameras. We can capture almost anything. We can record 5.4k @ 30fps or 4K up to 60fps. We can photo capture using a 1" CMOS 20MP in JPG and RAW. Whether it is events, surveys, inspection, photogrammetry, or marketing. We got it covered. If it is not listed please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Using state of the art equipment we offer our services to those in need. Having significant experience within the Emergency Services sector means we can carry out tasks safely and efficiently. Comet Drone Hire pledges to be ready for if and when such tasks are given.
